Annual Report



Good afternoon to one and all, I welcome you to the Annual Day celebrations of the Vidyalaya.

            At the outset I extend a hearty welcome to our Chief Guest Dr. M.D. Tiwari, Vice-Chancellor, Barkatullah University, Bhopal. His august presence has added charm and grace to the occasion.

My warm welcome to our Nominee Chairman Shri Ravi Kumar who is our Guest of honour today.

            My sincere welcome to esteemed members of VMC and VEC.

I also welcome all other guests, dignitaries and parents who are one of the most important stake holders of the Vidyalaya.

An occasion like this provides us with a platform not only to showcase the cultural skills of the students but also to present the achievements and the success stories of the students and the Vidyalaya. It gives me immense pleasure to present the Annual Report of this Vidyalaya which has carved a niche for itself as a premiere institution of education. The Vidyalaya runs in two shifts and has a total student strength of 1930 and 82 staff.

Our school building   is well equipped with all modern amenities like Smart Class rooms with interactive boards LCD projectors. The Vidyalaya also has well equipped e-laboratories and an e-library. CCTV cameras are installed in the classrooms corridors and all other vantage points. Similarly fire safety measures are ensured in the Vidyalaya. All these facilities bring the vidyalaya at par with other premier public schools in the city.


Continuing the legacy of academic excellence, the Vidyalaya has produced an impressive record of 100% pass with quality results in AISSE in both the shift with 22 students securing 10 CGPA altogether. In AISSCE Examination held in March 2016 the pass % was 95.91 in the (I shift) whereas it was 100% in II shift.

Mr. Shyam Ram TGT Sanskrit and    Mrs. Mamta Pandey TGT Science were awarded for their highest Performance Index in their subjects respectively in the whole region.


            Many students of our Vidyalaya qualified for the prestigious IIT Entrance Exam Master Mayur Atkhade and Master Akshat were selected for IIT Mumbai .Master Swarnim Pandey got IIT Varanasi. Miss Yashna Khakre too qualified for JEE Advance and got admission in IISER .Many of the students got admission in various NITs all over India. Master Tanmay Batham seured AIR 92 rank and got admission in National Law University Hyderabad.


             KVS gives varied opportunities to students to bring out their latent talents and conducts various exhibitions like science and social science exhibitions annually. A good number of students have participated in these exhibitions and brought laurels to the Vidyalaya.  Ku. Shivangi Tiwari participated in National Children Science Congress at National level. In Jawahar lal Nehru Science Exhibition Ma. Adnan participated at the National level competition. Our Vidyalaya was the venue for District level Inspire Award Exhibition and Regional level Jawaharlal Nehru Science Exhibition in which around 350 students and escorts from different KVs of the region participated.


The Vidyalaya hosted cluster level Social science exhibition from 19th to 20th August 2016. The dance performed by KV 3 (I Shift) represented Bhopal Region in the National Meet and received wide appreciation from HRD Minister Shri Prakash Jawdekar.


As per norms of KVS, CMP is implemented in the primary section. The following activities were under taken like  Welcoming the Tiny Tots , Investiture ceremony and forming,  Student Council, Medical Check-up( 2rounds) ,Community Lunch, Mini Sports Meet, Flag Day celebration Baldiwas Celebration to name a few.


Sports and games are integral part of the school curriculum. KVS organises sports and games competition at Cluster, Regional and National level in which students of the vidyalaya participate in great numbers. This year 20 students participated at the National level. Ku. Varsha Sonone won Gold medal in MP State open Judo competition. The football and the Cricket team of 2nd shift participated Indo-Nepal tournament and won Silver medal in both the events. The football team team also won Gold medal in Open Inter School open tournament organized by Sanskar Valley. Bhopal Region Basketball girls team won gold medal in KVS National meet , whose coach was Mrs. Sarita Rajesh Jha, TGT (PHs & E) 2nd shift.


Scouts & Guides Wing of the Vidyalaya is quite active with an enrolment of more than 300 students. Vidyalaya organised the prestigious Pre Rashtrapti Testing camp from 10 Dec. to 12 Dec. 2016. 14 Guides of the Vidyalaya participated In Rashtrapti Testing Camp held at KV No.1, Bhopal.

In Service Course (PGT Chemistry):- 

School organised 12days in service course for PGT Chemistry from 18/05/2016 to 29/05/2016 in which teachers of various regions participated and enhanced their proficiency in teaching learning skill. 2nd Spell is scheduled to be held from 24th Dec 2016 to 02 Jan 2016.  


Vidyalaya hosted Rashtrapti Testing camp where 139 Scouts and Guides of 39 Vidyalayas of Bhopal regions participated. The Camp lasted for three days in which 19 trainers and officials trained them for the Rashtrapti award.

Regional Incentive Award Ceremony:- 

Our vidyalaya had the privilege of hosting Regional incentive award and Divisional Incentive awards. 16 teachers of different vidyalayas chosen by regional office on the basis of their excellent services were awarded. The function was graced by Dr. Nityanand Pradhan As chief guest, it was presided over by Shri Isampal Dy. Comm. KVS, Regional Office Bhopal and other officers of KVS RO Bhopal.

Railway safety Week:- 

Railway Safety week was observed in this Vidyalaya from 31st Oct. to 06th Nov. 2016 in collaboration with Rail Mantralaya DRM Bhopal. These officials   sponsored the conduct of many competitions like Drawing and Painting, Slogan writing, Quiz etc and gave cash prizes to the winners.

            As a programme under Disaster Management Mock Fire Drill was conducted in the vidyalaya on 3rd Dec 2016 by the Fire Safety and Control Department Bhopal. As a part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Vidyalaya Participated in “Mera Pran Bhopal No.1” in collaboration with Bhopal Municipal Corporation.

                        The Vidyalaya has grown in leaps and bounds to its present stature thanks to our stake holders and the community around us. We owe our deepest sense of gratitude to our honourable Chairman VMC, Shri. NIshant Warwade, Collector Dist. Bhopal, Shri Isampal Honourable Deputy Commissioner KVS RO Bhopal Region for their constant support and guidance.

 I take this opportunity to thank all the members of PTA, distinguished guests and beloved parents, guardians for rendering their help in maintaining a meaningful interaction between parents and teachers, resulting in the all-round development of the Vidyalaya and its students. Lastly, my sincere thanks and deep sense of appreciation are due to my dedicated and hardworking team of staff who put in all their efforts for the all-round development of students. My appreciation to all my beloved children who have contributed their best in all the curricular and co-curricular activities to bring laurels to themselves and to Vidyalaya.

                        We look forward to have the continued support of all the well-wishers, for taking the Vidyalaya to still newer heights & achievements in the years to come.
